Pat King

Pat King, or King Pat as I call him is in jail, in Ontario on last report. He was picked up and arrested by the police in Ottawa towards the end of the Freedom Convoy episode and denied bail ahead of charges against him being heard in court.

I have run into Pat a few times these last few years: In Edmonton at a WEXIT rally, at a Greta Thunberg rally at the legislature grounds in Edmonton and at a promask/BLM rally in Innisfail in the summer of 2020, where he appeared on his Harley and stirred up the pot.

At each rally he appeared as an independent character and did his own thing in order to attract public attention. He used the selfie video as a primary tool to build up an online following, ending up with over 300,000 by the time he was arrested.

I followed the Freedom Convoy events closely and Pat was never really involved with the organizers of the event, but appeared to the public, by his own design, to be a main player.

In reality he was simply playing to an online audience. But he annoyed the powers-that-be and is now paying the price for that.

King Pat is not likely to see the light of day for a long time. Goes to show: There is no real justice in the wanna-be democracy of Canada if you step on the wrong toes and have a big following online.
