I woke up this morning to the news that Our Justin (poor dude) is invoking the Emergencies Act which replaced the War Measures Act in the nineteen eighties and gives him the legal power to put troops into the street.
Last night I pointed out, here on my timeline, that Canada, the banana kingdom, is sliding into the hole which is now perfectly evident to all.
In October, 1970, Justin's dad, Pierre, invoked the War Measures Act to deal with real terrorism and murders in Quebec. He also negotiated with the terrorists and allowed them to escape to Cuba after releasing an English hostage.
"King" Justin, the pouting spoilt boychild, is now giving himself the same kind of powers that his father used, to be wielded against peaceful men, women and children.
Surely, there must be some kind of advantage to live in a polarized banana kingdom? Like cheaper bananas??
