Ottawa Party is over and folks have, by and large, gone home. They stirred up the country more than anything I have seen since coming here some 35 years ago.
The Neoliberal government in Ottawa grabbed the opportunity to invoke the Emergencies Act and has proceeded to close the bank accounts of its political enemies.
In the process they have caused panic amongst bank depositors who are withdrawing cash at an unprecedented rate, to the consternation of bankers.
All they have achieved is to send a good portion of the economy underground, resulting in lost tax revenues.
Pleeease, give me another banana!
