Some 200 vehicles carrying Alberta flags congregated in Sundre on June 20, taking the place of the regular parade through town on that rodeo weekend in Sundre. The regular parade had been cancelled by the rodeo committee after a controversy over allowing, or not allowing, a vehicle with Alberta flags to participate in that parade.
